In the name of the Women’s Protection Units – YPJ, we congratulate all women on 8th of March, the International Women’s Day.
Women who march on the path of freedom.
Women who march on the path of socialism and communalism.
Those who strife to create a peaceful world.
A world in which human dignity exists.
In which dignity for women exists.
As Women’s Protection Units today in Rojava we’re waging a struggle for the protection of women’s rights.
Despite all hardships that women had to face it always based itself on the slogan “Jin Jiyan Azadî” and continued its struggle as the slogan of revolution.
Of course there is the need for strong decisions on the 8th of March.
Decisions that can become a new path of struggle and the time of a roadmap that can
protect the rights of women and society as well as a roadmap for a world in women’s colors.
Of course as women we’re all following how the whole world is in a heavy war, because woman will bear the biggest brunt.
Because women, in their role of mothers, wives, daughters and granddaughters, however you look at it they’re the ones who suffer the most and face great injustice.
For a world with human dignity with dignity for women we need to establish this roadmap together and continue the struggle for it.
Right now is not like yesterday.
We need to understand this well.
Because the intervention of the male coalition on this world will bring even its current remains to extinction and to ashes and will burn them.
Our aim as women is not only the protection of women’s rights anymore but the protection of life.
The protection of freedom, socialism and communalism.
That’s why we as women have to strenghten our organisation.
We have to gather at the same front so we can stand up against the coalition of men of the dominant patriarchal state and we can become the righteous vanguard of a truthful internationalism.
Now this is required from us.
Our duties and responsibilities as women have increased.
If we don’t take up this responsibility, not only women will loose, face rape and upheaval
but the whole world will experience this.
The whole world will face rape.
In order to stop this culture, we have to strenghten our frontline.
We have to understand this well.
It’s necessary that the evaluation and definition of freedom is not made by the male mind.
It has to be made by the women’s mind.
If we can make this definition with our mind, heart and spirit, then we can create a color that includes beauty, the own self and existence.
This is not just important for women but also for men.
Because we saw also many men noticing, that with the formula Jin Jiyan Azadî, they can find their own identity.
And we can also be a vanguard for the free man.
That’s why as women we have to join in unity against all attacks on life, rights, social justice and women.
And I believe strongly that the unity, organisation and wisdom of women and their correct definitions according to universal truth will bring about great success.
Once again, as Women’s Protection Units – YPJ
from Rojava to all 4 directions of the world we’re greeting every woman one by one.
We’re embracing them and we’ll always be together.
We will struggle together and be victorious together.
