“Şehîd Andok is now in our hearts but we are keeping his place next to you”

Ş. Andok’s parents have sent a message of support to the people of Rojava and Northeast Syria, stating that they will now take their son’s place in the defense of the revolution alongside the people.

The full text of the message is as follows:

“Hello. We are Ute and Thomas. We are the parents of Şehîd Andok.
During the Rojava revolution Şehîd Andok stood with his comrades and the people in Tabqa, Minbic and during the liberation of the villages around Raqqa.
Our son stood with you when the Turkish state attacked Serêkaniyê where our son fell martyr.
If he would have survived this attack Şehîd Andok would now again stand with you
Şehîd Andok chose Rojava as his new homeland.
If he would be alive, he would again defend his homeland. That we know for sure!
Şehîd Andok is now in our hearts but now we are keeping his place next to you.
We’re with you. We see you. We’re with you. At the Tishrin Dam, in Kobane, in Minbic and all over North and Eastern Syria we stand with you.
From Kiel in northern Germany we greet all the people, our families in QSD, YPG, YPJ and the Assyrian Military Council and all freedom fighters with all our heart and soul.
